Cultural Heritage as a catalyst of creative entrepreneurship

Cultural Heritage as a catalyst of creative entrepreneurship is a strategic partnership between five European genral high schools.


The coordinator is the croatian school and partners come from Sweden, Portugal, Greece and us, the spanish team.
The main topic for our project is Cultural heritage since this year is marked as the European year of cultural heritage. so our students will learn about ccreative entrepreneurship through this topic. This way they Will not only develop their entreprenurial skills, but also learn about cultural heritage of other countries ins a creative way. Promotion of culture as a catalyst for creativity in the frame work of the Lisbon strategy for growth, employment, innovation and competitiveness is one of the strategic objectives of the European agenda for culture.
Through this Project we will connect today's four very important topics and areas, namely entrepreneurship, cultural heritage, creativity and ICT.

CILJEVI

The main aim of this Project is to launch entrepreneurship initiative in partner schools and thus influce other European general high schools to do the same. In order to achieve this aim the main objectives of our Project are:
- to imporve teachers' entreprenership skills.
- to develop students' entreprenership skills.
- to provide students with basic skills of today's popular small businesses such as graphic design, photography, blogging/vlogging , handmade crafts, tour guiding.
- to generate connections between schools and communities.
- to integrate best practice into the curricula.
- to imporve students' and teachers' cultural awareness.
- to imporve students' and teachers' ICT knowledge.
- to foster student's future employability.

RADNI POSTUPAK

Each partner will form a Project team which will consist of around 5 teachers and 20 students who will be directly involved in Project activities. However, through peer teaching we will include a big number of students in each school.
Therre will be four short-term student exchanges, each atended by four students and two accompanying teachers (one short-term in Portugal, other in Greece, other in Sweden and another one in Spain).
Between exchanges students will attend local training on Project topics done by local entrepreneurs and teachers, all that creative works will be shared by etwinning to their eruopean colleagues.

OEKIVANI REZULTATI

The tangible results we would like to produce are:
- One structured course for teachers on developing students' entrepreneurial skills.
- students' creative products, such as photos, blogs/blogs, graphic design products, handmade crafts, guide tours, organizing events.
- a digital good practice guide on creative entrepreneurship through cultural heritage.
- a documentary film about creative entrepreneurship in general high schools.
- a Project brochure, a poster and a logo.
- evalutaion reports

In order to share all that reults we will use the twinspace by a diary among all the partners for online communication and to show all the progress and the results.
